19BBY, Luke Skywalker was born to Padme Amidala, the love

 partner of Anakin Skywalker. He has a twin sister, Leia Organa Solo. Luke Skywalker is a legendary hero during the Galactic Civil war and a Jedi Master. A distinguished leader and pilot, Luke was popularly known for tearing down the first death star. Furthermore, he prompted Darth Vader in killing Emperor Palpatine. This incident led to the unforgettable defeat of the Galactic Empire.

Queen Padme Amidala died after giving birth to Luke and Leia. Jedi masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda hid the twins from Palpatine who was the newly declared ruler and Galactic Emperor. Leia is sent to Alderaan. She was adopted by Senator Bail Organa and grew up to become a princess. As for Luke Skywalker, he was taken into a desert planet called Tatooine. He was raised by Uncle Owen, a moisture farmer and Aunt Beru. Obi-Wan hid himself in Tatooine to look after Luke.

After 19 years, he lived a boring life with his uncle and aunt, who continue to keep his true identity and father’s history. He started to meet his destiny when he found two droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO. After that, he met Obi-Wan, whom he had an impression of being an eccentric hermit, known as “Ben Kenobi.” Obi-wan told him about his father, his life being a Jedi and how he was killed by Darth Vader. The Jedi master presented Skywalker a lightsaber, which was owned by his deceased father. Luke refused Obi-Wans offer to go to Alderaan.

The death of Skywalker’s uncle and aunt, who were slain by the stormtroopers made him change his decision. They were able to catch a ride on the Millenium Falcon, which was controlled by smuggler Commander Han Solo and his first mate, Chewbacca. Once they reached Alderaan, they found out that Adleraan was destroyed by the Death Star, the Empire’s latest super weapon.

Three years passed and Luke became the Commander of the Rebel Alliance. During his mission in Hoth (ice planet), he was almost murdered by a Wampa. With the aid of his lightsaber and the Force. He was able to escape death. While he was in the middle of the frozen wasteland, Obi-Wan’s spirit appeared in front of him and told him to go to Planet Dagobah and finish his training with Jedi Master Yoda’s guidance. Luke Skywalker almost died from the cold, if not for Han Solo, who insisted in riding out in the middle of the night just to save him.

The base was then discovered by the Empire. Luke led a snowspeeder squadron to help the evacuation. He escaped Hoth with his X-wing. He went directly to Dagobah, instead of meeting his alliance. There he met Yoda, who made him go through strenuous Jedi training, which helped increase his power with the Force.

Luke Skywalker, together with Leia, Lando Calrissian and the droids, saved Han Solo from Jabba the Hut (gangsters). Jabba obtained the carbonite-encased solo following the events in the City of Cloud. Luke tried to negotiate with Jabba. However, he was forced to battle the Rancor, a very fearsome monster. Skywalker successfully killed the Rancor but Jabba sentenced him to be exiled in the Pit of Karcoon, and fed to the Sarlacc. With R2’s help, Skywalker was able to escape the Sarlacc and at the same time they were able to destroy Jabba’s barge. In the Endor Battle, Vader met Luke Skywalker head-on. Vader asked Luke to go with the Dark side. When he returned to Dagobah, the dying Yoda told him that his real father was Darth Vader and Obi-Wan’s spirit told him of being Leia’s twin brother. Yoda also told him that he won’t be able to complete his Jedi mode if he won’t confront his own father. Luke believes that his father is still a good man and promised to bring his father back to the good side.

Darth Vader and the Emperor still insisted on turning Skywalker into the dark side. They forced him by promising to spare his friends from death. When that failed, Palpatine provokes Luke to strike back at him in order to save the rebels. Palpatine used force lighting against Luke Skywalker, which hit Skywalker almost killing him. In terrible pain, Skywalker asked for his father’s help. Darth Vader helped him and sacrificed himself by throwing himself and the emperor into the reactor shaft. Vader got hurt badly. Luke removed his father’s mask and saw his father’s eyes before he died. Luke gave his father a Jedi funeral, by burning his remains. The Alliance had a Rebel Victory celebration which was held in Endor. In the end, Skywalker was able to see the spirits of Master Yoda, Obi-Wan and his beloved father.
